Because Poverty Has a Finish Line

We have joined Soles4Souls for the 25K Shoe Drive program--an initiative that provides the opportunity to create meaningful impact for those living in need in developing nations by committing to collect and donate 25,000 pairs of shoes.
Why?
  • 900 million people around the world live on less than $1.90 per day. 400 million are children.
  • More than 2/3 of the labor force in Haiti do not have formal jobs. 1/3 of the population in Honduras is unemployed.
  • Gently used shoes in places like Haiti and Honduras act as a resource to help people in developing nations start and sustain small businesses to help them step out of poverty.
  • Soles4Souls estimates, for every pair of shoes sold, an entrepreneur can provide 5-7 meals for themselves and their family
  • The average US citizen throws away 70 pounds of clothing and other textiles annually. That adds up to 21 billion pounds per year.

Contribute Shoes to the 25K Drive

Soles4Souls accepts all sizes and styles of shoes but please ensure the shoes you donate are new or gently-worn. The better the quality, the more impact! Shoes that have significant tearing, soles that are completely worn through or those that show signs of mold are considered unusable.
